Cancellation and Failed to Attend Policy

At Releaf Physio, we understand that plans can change. However, to allow us to offer appointments to other patients who may be waiting for treatment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or change to an appointment.

If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend your appointment without notifying us, the full appointment fee will be charged.

Why do we charge the full appointment fee?

When a late cancellation or non-attendance occurs, that appointment slot is often too short notice to offer to another patient. This means valuable treatment time is lost, and another person may miss the opportunity to receive physiotherapy care when they need it.

Will private health insurance cover cancellation fees?

In most cases, private medical insurance providers do not cover cancellation or non-attendance fees. For this reason, all patients are responsible for paying these charges themselves.

• Follow-Up Appointment: £58

Cancellation charges

The minimum notice period for cancelling an appointment is 24 hours.

• More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge
• Less than 24 hours’ notice: Full appointment fee applies
• Failure to attend without notice: Full appointment fee applies

If you are using private medical insurance, please note that your insurer may not reimburse you for missed appointment or late cancellation charges.
