Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and FTA (Failed To Attend) fees are charged for all appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time or failed to attend the appointment without any notice. These charges are set out below:


Why do ask patients to levy the full treatment cost?
Because someone else could have been treated during that appointment time. Many Physiotherapists operate with regular waiting lists and late cancellations mean doubly wasted time and patients enduring discomfort and pain unnecessarily.


Will the insurance company pay for this?
In our experience, insurance companies do not pay cancellation charges. We ask ALL patients to settle their own account for these charges.


Fees for non-insured patients (pay at each appointment)
Initial Assessment        £45.00
Follow-up                     £30.00

Cancellation Charges
The minimum cancellation period for appointments is 24 hours. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment the full charge for the appointment will be levied in accordance with cancellation policy. If you are claiming from private medical insurance they may not pay this for you.
